[Hi PWiCS! This trip was probably the coolest thing I’ve done at Princeton, so you should definitely apply. Email eportnoy@ if you want to talk more. This message is from Laura Cummings-Abdo at CITP. – Erica]
Princeton students are invited to apply to participate in Tech Policy Boot Camp, a three-day trip to Washington DC during Fall Break, sponsored by the Center for Information Technology Policy (CITP). The program will include visits to government, corporate, non-profit, and journalism organizations that participate in the Washington technology policy process.
The group will leave Princeton early on Monday, October 27, and return late on Wednesday, October 29. CITP will cover all expenses. To apply, please provide the following information: your name, year, major, and a one-paragraph mini-essay explaining why you want to participate. Your application should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, with subject line “fall break application”.
All Princeton undergraduates are welcome to apply, regardless of year or major. The deadline to submit applications is Monday, September 22, 2014. Please direct any questions to Prof. Ed Felten, email@example.com.
